How To Unlock The Free Curling Iron Emote in Fortnite
The requirements to unlock this emote are very simple; gamers need to play matches with five different friends during the Winterfest event. Players are still eligible for this reward regardless of the game mode that they decide to play with their friends during this time.
Meeting the requirements to receive this emote can be complicated for those that don’t know many people playing Fortnite. But thankfully, there’s a simple solution that doesn’t require visiting community websites and forums such as Reddit and Discord.
Gamers that want to find someone to team up with but don’t feel comfortable with chatting directly can play Team Rumble or Squads with the Fill option on. Once they get teamed up with active players (those that aren’t AFK to leave immediately after being knocked out), they can send them a friend request.
Then, it’s all up to inviting them to the player’s party, and, at some point, someone will join. This doesn’t require too much effort, and who knows if they’ll end up finding the perfect teammate to join in on more Fortnite matches in the future.
