How To Mark Items in Fortnite
The ping system or the marking system allows players to mark different items, locations, and even enemies on the map so their allies can see it. To mark an item in Fortnite, all players have to do is press the Place Marker button while looking at the item they want to mark. Pressing the left button on the D-Pad on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch will get the job done. Those who are playing on a PC can press the middle mouse button while looking at a specific item to mark it.
How to Mark Enemies in Fortnite
Pinging a location, item, or a weapon only requires a single press of the place marker button; however, players who want to mark enemies will have to quickly press the button twice to ping the enemy’s location for their allies.
