Later this month, Epic Games is kicking off the No Sweat Summer limited time event, which leakers have already revealed will contain plenty of new themed cosmetics related to the beach and other summer activities, along with news quests to award out items and XP. To help pave the way, Epic released a new update which not only fixed a handful of bugs but added some new content into the battle royale including the Prime Shotgun.

While traversing the island in Fortnite, players will also find ice cream cones in a variety of flavors, each with their own effects once consumed. To help players prepare, here is where to find the ice cream cones as well as what each one does.
Ice Cream Cone Effects
These newly added Ice Cream Cones are consumables in Fortnite, similar to med packs, slurp juice, fish, and other items. They come in five different varieties with four being uncommon rarity items and then a special legendary version. As expected, each one offers a different effect once consumed, so here is the full list of flavors:
Ice Cream Cone (Uncommon) - The most basic version, consuming this will simply restore a small amount of health. Frozen Ice Cream Cone (Uncommon) - Consuming this version restores a bit of health while also “making everything slippery. " Guzzling Ice Cream Gone (Uncommon) - Similar to Slurp Juice or Med Mist, this consumable will slowly regenerate a player’s health. Spicy Ice Cream Cone (Uncommon) - Feel the burn with this ice cream as it not only restores a bit of health, but it increases player speed for a time as well. Lil-Whip’s Special Serve (Legendary) - The final Ice Cream Cone is also the most effective as it restores both health and shield.
Ice Cream Cone Locations
While Fortnite leakers like HYPEX initially indicated that they were available in the game following the Prime Shotgun update, it wasn’t actually until the full launch of the No Sweat Summer update. As expected, the Ice Cream is mainly world loot, able to be looted from a variety of locations while playing. However, players will mainly find them inside of coolers, which means they’ll likely be more plentiful in certain zones. Gas Stations are a sure bet, as well as at a number of Points of Interest in the southern desert area including Chonker’s Speedway, Rocky Reels, Condo Canyon, and Synapse Station.
Once found, they act as any regular consumable item. Once thing that’s worth noting is that a player’s pet can eat it, so it is highly advised to pick it up quickly or risk losing it to a friendly (and hungry) pet.
