As found below in Fortnite’s latest dev update video for its Battle Royale mode, lead systems designer Eric Williamson reveals that the map patch will introduce a “bunch of new points of interest” for players to explore. For those that might not have been following, the latest Fortnite update introduced a new equip time for high damage weapons, essentially preventing players from quickly switching to a weapon like a shotgun and firing. Now, there will be a slight delay in the time between the player switching to the weapon and when they can fire. According to Epic Games, the change was made to reduce instances where players can quickly switch between weapons for high burst damage....

Deadpool in Fortnite The Deadpool challenges are only available to players who have purchased the Battle Pass for Fortnite. This week’s challenges are visiting a rainbow of colored bridges across the Fortnite map and finding the stuffed unicorn somewhere inside the game. While several of the Deadpool-themed challenges are located on the map itself, Deadpool’s hideout and certain items are located elsewhere. The latest tease for Kevin the Cube’s return in Fortnite isn’t found in-game this time, however. Instead, one of Epic Games’ inside men appears to be leaking info. The latest info comes from none other than Donald Mustard, Epic Games’ CCO. Mustard has a somewhat cryptic mess to share with his Twitter followers. The message reads, “They see me rollin’ pt 2.” The message seemingly referring to Kevin the Cube’s season-long journey rolling across Fortnite’s map in Season 5....
