Concept artist and Fortnite fan @pulso recently posted an image portraying the F100 in-game camera. Given that Fortnite players on the Nintendo Switch don’t have the replay feature, the addition of a functional camera could enhance the in-game experience. Players in the Fornite community were curious to find out how such a device would work on Fortnite. @pulso suggested that this device could be added as an item available in the player’s inventory or implemented as an addition to the emote wheel....

Epic Games’ enduringly popular free-to-play battle royale is now entering its second month of Season 6. The new season, dubbed “Primal,” has seen a number of changes to the game’s meta, including the addition of fauna, Guardian boss fights, a weapon crafting system, and other somewhat divisive changes. Yesterday was the first day the new Chonkers off-road tires became available, which give players drastically improved driving performance on basically any surface, including mountains....

To get started with the program, Fortnite players will need to sign up with their Epic Account on the Refer a Friend website. As explained in the tweet below from the official Fortnite Twitter account, the game’s High Stakes event will include a bevy of different items, such as a new Limited Time Mode called “Getaway”, the Wild Card outfit, as well as some High Stakes Challenges. As many-a-player may know, developer Epic Games recently changed up its battle star/hidden banner routine with season 9 by having Fortbyte clues replace the banners. For those that weren’t following too closely, Orange Shirt kid became a popular meme in the Fortnite Reddit community with a dance that was both enthusiastic and concise. Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite is well underway now, as Week 3 has brought along the game’s 2020 Holiday-themed update, Operation Snowdown. One of the first challenges as part of the holiday update is for players to visit Snowmando outposts, where, to much surprise, players could find the return of planes, but with a twist. Revealed in the patch notes, season 2 begins today and will end on Feb 20th. Fortnite’s battle pass is available now and will unlock 65 rewards by the end of the season. Epic Games did reveal that it would take between 75 to 150 hours to unlock everything, however. The patch also introduces an event store and a global inventory that can be brought up out of a mission. In the announcement, Epic Games also sneaks in a promise of global crafting for Save The World coming soon....

The launch of season 5 has had a large impact on mobile Fortnite sales, which have now risen to an average of $2 million per throughout the first 10 days of season 5 action. That’s a 12% increase in the preceding ten days, and a remarkable 19% increase when compared to the first 10 days of season 4. Suffice to say, Epic Games is probably very happy with how things are going....
