For this season, Epic has added 30 additional tiers to bring the total count to 100 and stockpiled it with all sorts of new goodies from skins, gliders, pickaxes and new loot like back blings, skydiving effects, and loading screen wallpaper. In addition, the Fortnite Battle Royale challenge system has been completely overhauled, so not only do players still get the standard three daily challenges, but a new group of seven is unlocked each week....

The leak appeared on Twitter from user Ginsor, a well-known leaker within the Destiny community who has previously reported accurate information about previous seasons and expansions. They posted an image of the armor sets coming to Destiny 2 as part of the Fortnite crossover, with one set going to each player class and being based on notable Fortnite skins. Titans appear to be getting a Black Knight-inspired set, Warlocks’ new armor will be based on the Drift skin, and an Omega-inspired armor set for Hunters....

Among those who filed a legal case against Fortnite, includes Rachel McCumbers, the mother of Orange Shirt Kid who filed the lawsuit on behalf of her son. Also involved are rapper 2 Milly, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro known for popularizing the “Carlton Dance,” and Backpack Kid. These group of individuals who are currently after Epic Games took issue with the fact that Fortnite is allegedly profiting from the dances popularly attributed to them....

The vast majority of the complaints against Epic stem from account issues for Fortnite players, particularly related to hacked accounts and unauthorized credit card usage. Other issues include complaints regarding accounts banned for cheating, goods that haven’t been received after purchase, and refund requests for the premium game Fortnite: Save the World. Epic Games is, however, making an effort to respond to the complaints. According to Epic Games’ listing on the BBB website, 271 customer complaints have been closed over the past 12 months....

There are two things players need to do in order to participate in the Fortnite Fishing Frenzy. First, the account has to have 2-factor security turned on. Second is to find a fishing rod in-game and to fish. It’s really that simple. Fishing Rods can be found as rare spawns anywhere on the map, including chests, but are also found in barrel spawns near water in certain locations. After that, players need to hunt down bubbling spots found in water locations....

As seen in the tweet below from the official Fortnite Twitter account, Epic Games announces the end date of the Infinity Gauntlet mode, and even goes as far to state that fans will be able to “wield the Gauntlet one last time.” While this infers that the LTM will be leaving once and for all, one could argue that there is the possibility of it eventually returning to the sandbox survival title at some point in the future....

A recent change in Fortnite re-introduced an old game mode making a triumphant return: The Floor is Lava. This mode was first introduced in 2019 and is exactly what it says on the tin: no main solid land mass, just lava and some places that aren’t. Speaking to the BBC, Wolfiez says that his mother, Lisa Dallman, “didn’t understand how it worked, so she thought that I was spending eight hours a day in my room just wasting my time.” The Fortnite duos runner-up is “really happy” having proven to his mother that he can make a career from playing games professionally. As shown in the video below, the Twitch streamer was unable to locate his opponent while the storm closed in around him. Normally, a Fortnite player would simply be able to go to a different zone to get out of the storm, but in this case there was nowhere to go. Lucky for CashNastyGaming, he apparently had more health than the other player left alive. For those that might not be familiar with Fortnite Battle Royale, the basic concept involves 100 players dropping into a large open map with lots of major conflict areas....

The claim might come as a surprise to anyone who’s been following the legal saga closely since Fortnite’s removal from the App Store and the Google Play Store last year. Ostensibly the litigation hinges on anti-trust laws, and was born of Epic Games’ long-simmering dissatisfaction with the large cut of in-app revenue that both companies have pocketed. As such, it might seem counterintuitive that, according to recent court documents, iOS revenue accounted for just 7 percent of the total between 2018 and 2020, trailing way behind home consoles....

As seen in the tweet below, Epic Games shows off the progression of the different styles for the Carbide skin until it’s fully upgraded to look like a cross between a set of Mass Effect’s standard N7 armor and Tony Stark’s Mark V Iron Man suit. In order for fans to acquire the final form of the Carbide skin, they will need to play Fortnite on the regular so as to increase their season levels and unlock all of the different appearances for the suit....

One report in particular comes from David Bierton at Digital Foundry. Bierton states that frame rate, frame pacing, resolution specs, and the title’s Unreal Engine all play a part in the surprisingly smooth performance Fortnite displays on the Xbox One system. On the technological side of things, the PlayStation 4 seems set up to triumph, as its base release targets 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second gameplay, while the Xbox One aims a bit lower at 900p resolution....

With Season 2 of Chapter 3, Fortnite has temporarily disabled building in favor of some similarly drastic changes to movement abilities and other major balance changes. Among other things like Doctor Strange headlining the next battle pass, the short-term shift away from building leaves in favor of an additional overshield, a tactical sprint, and a new mantle/parkour system. It is a surprising departure, even for a game known for its shape-shifting meta and unpredictability, and has effectively turned Fortnite into a very different game....

In addition to content, Epic has also been known to shift weapons around, mixing up the sandbox style gameplay to remove things that may be working too well, or adding new things for players to try. Since its launch all the way back in 2017, Fortnite has seen plenty of gear come and go such as resource items, various weapons, and even some popular tools like the versatile All Terrain Kart....

Epic Games’ popular free-to-play battle royale officially launched its sixth season last week. Fortnite’s new “Primal” themed season introduces several new elements to the game’s meta, including animals, new POIs, and a weapon crafting system. Players now have the option to craft primal weapons which trade accuracy for increased firepower, although this challenge doesn’t require any sort of confrontation. Back in 2018 when Avengers: Infinity War released, Fortnite capitalized on its insane popularity by doing a collaboration. Players in the game were able to find the legendary Infinity Gauntlet, and the lucky player that put it on could then wield the power of all the Infinity Stones as Thanos. Other players would have to work together to take this titan down and try to grab the glove for themselves....

What makes this challenges one of the more confusing ones is because some Fortnite players may not realize how they can get the ice puck. As it turns out, the ice puck is a toy that can only be unlocked by players that have purchased the Battle Pass and have reached the required level. After buying the Battle Pass, Fortnite players have to hit tier 28 to unlock the ice puck toy....

This leak comes only days after Epic announced “The End,” the final Fortnite season 10 event. This in-game event is taking place on Sunday, October 13 at 2pm EST and is speculated to bring about a world altering event that may lead to a new map. Today, an image leaked that supports this rumor.
